Historical & Spiritual use:

Sweet orange was noted for its ability to bring peace, happiness and spiritual guidance. The orange is long held to be a symbol of innocence and fertility.

Lavender has been used to calm the body and uplift the spirit and it was traditionally associated with love and is thought to help attract a mate. Jars of lavender were found in King Tut’s tomb.

Fennel is believed to make one wiser and improve the memory. In classical myth, Dionysus, the god of intoxication and mystery, is said to have created his wand from a giant fennel plant.

Nutmeg is celebrated in winter festivals and was used in both love magic and charms to aid in obtaining money and other material goals.
